Personal Data We Process
Stichting Joomla Nederland processes your personal data when you register as a speaker, purchase a ticket, or sign up for the newsletter. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

Special and/or Sensitive Personal Data We Process

Necessity & Legal Obligation
A large portion of the personal data we collect is necessary to provide our services. We also need this data to meet our legal obligations, especially under tax law. This includes:

- Address (to know where your company is located to send the invoice)
- Phone number (so we can contact you if we have questions or need to speak with you urgently)
- Email address (to keep in touch with you about our services)
- Bank account number (to verify which account paid)

Additionally, we collect personal data because we would like to send marketing newsletters. We only do this if you give us your consent. We collect:
- Email address (so we can send emails)
- Possibly your first and last name, but only if you provide it (we use this to personalize the newsletter)
How Long We Retain Personal Data
We will not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or for the legal retention period. We follow the retention periods below for these categories of personal data:
- NAW data (Name, Address, City) > 7 years after the end of the customer relationship > This is the legal retention period for administration
- Phone number > 7 years after the end of the customer relationship > This is the legal retention period for administration
- Email address given within the customer relationship > 7 years after the end of the customer relationship > This is the legal retention period for administration
- Email address given for sending newsletters > Until consent is withdrawn
Automated Decision-Making
We do not make decisions based on automated processing that could have significant effects on individuals. This includes decisions made by computer programs or systems without human involvement (such as an employee of Stichting Joomla Nederland).

Please black out your photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and BSN (Dutch social security number) in the copy to protect your privacy.
We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than four weeks.
